Your GPA plays a huge part. So do your best to achieve higher grades in your courses.

Initiate contact with schools, coaches, administrators. Setup visits, to view campus and see if you are comfortable in the environment.

Schedule and take SAT / ACT as early as possible. This gives you time to retake if necessary.
